Beneficiation of a low grade siliceous mine waste limestone sample, from Jayantipuram lime-stone mine, Andhra Pradesh, India assaying 42.62% CaO and 19.07% SiO 2 by flotation was studied. Mineralogical studies by microscope as well as X-Ray Diffraction indicated that the low grade limestone sample consists of calcite as a major valuable mineral and quartz as gangue.
